About the winery
Since the very first year of production, significant work has been carried out on the vines. Great care is taken to respect the terroir and ancestral traditions, with techniques requiring great precision and using the highest technology available. The estate’s vines are red varieties, with the main Rhône Valley grape varieties (Grenache noir, Syrah, Merlot, Cinsault and Vieux Carignan) expressing themselves with delicacy and voluptuousness. Located within the AOP Ventoux and Luberon designation, the winery also produces pleasant rosé wines, fresh and tasty, and white wines with a strong character.

History & Geography
In the South of Avignon, the Domaine des Peyre, five minutes from Gordes and Isle sur la Sorgue is surrounded by the most famous perched villages of the Luberon: Oppède le Vieux, Roussillon, Ménerbes, Lacoste… it is less than an hour from Arles Roman city, the Camargue, Saint Rémy de Provence, Mont Ventoux, Marseille, Aix en Provence, Avignon and the vineyards of the Rhone Valley, it is the ideal place to visit authentic Provence. All the beautiful villages are less than 30 minutes from the domaine des Peyre : Ménerbes, Oppède le Vieux, Bonnieux, Lourmarin, Maubec, Lacoste, Murs, Saint Panthaléon, Lioux, Roussillon, Goult, l’Isle sur la Sorgue… In all seasons, we have the chance to taste fruits and vegetables just harvested at maturity.
