Firesteed Cellars

Established in 1992 Firesteed wines represent the finest expression of varietals perfectly suited to the distinctive Willamette Valley growing region.

About the winery
Very few places in the world are as ideally suited for growing Pinot Noir grapes as Oregon's Willamette Valley. Nestled between two mountain ranges, it is sheltered from but still influenced by the Pacific Ocean, creating a micro-climate that provides our carefully selected vines with everything they need to achieve perfection. The grapes that produce Firesteed Willamette Valley vintages are hand tended in the vineyard and hand crafted in the winery to bring out all of the glorious flavor characteristics this prime region has given them. Then, when it's appropriate, they are aged quietly in French oak barrels before they are blended and bottled and ready to enjoy. We think that our Willamette Valley wines are beautiful and authentic expressions of this legendary region. We hope you do too.

History & Geography
From the moment we began making wine in 1992 we have been dedicated to producing premium quality varietal wines in Oregon at affordable prices. Although Firesteed started small, we’ve enjoyed steady growth, great reviews and the gratifying loyalty of our customers and business partners, all thanks to the consistent quality and value of our wines. Consistent quality is not always easy to achieve in a cool climate. Over the years, we have learned to appreciate and work with the forces of nature, adjusting to the changing cycles of the sun and rain and the fertility of the soil in order to create varietals and blends that are wonderful in youth and often become better with every passing year.
