Founded by Bill Powers in 1982 and earning USDA certification in 1990, Badger Mountain Vineyard has always been committed to longterm sustainability, organic viticulture and wine production. As THE standard for USDA certified organic wine from Washington State, we are proud to continue Bill Powers’ legacy. Having worked in every vineyard and production role since starting here in 1995, winemaker Jose Mendoza is the perfect man for the job. Jose and his team work closely with our diverse grower partners to form complex and clean wines with great character and depth - all without additives or preservatives of any kind! In that vein, Badger Mountain wines are all organic with no added sulfites. They are gluten-free, vegan-friendly and contain no GMOs. With no additives or preservatives, the wine speaks to the goal of Badger Mountain as a whole – Natural Passion, Responsible Farming, Pure Wines.
