Mas Blanch I Jové

At Mas Blanch i Jové we bottle the territory. The wine we make speaks about the landscape. We practice ecological mountain viticulture.

About the winery
We are a small winery from Costers del Segre DO in the north border of Priorat region. We practice heroic viticulture (vineyards at +700m. above the sea level) and our wines have mountain character with Mediterranean soul. All our products are certified organic since 2015. We do not use herbicides or pesticides in the vineyard, all the grapes are hand harvested from our own vineyards (production per Ha. around 3500 Kg.) and we use our own yeast to make the wines. Moreover, we use not only oak barrels to age our wines but also amphorae and concrete eggs. The winery, completely integrated in the landscape, is powered only by solar energy. We also have an artistic project where sculptures and different artworks coexist among olive trees and vineyards.

History & Geography
In 2006 we created a small winery, MAS BLANCH I JOVÉ, in LA POBLA DE CÉRVOLES (Lleida) where we make quality wine under the DO Costers del Segre. The project was nevertheless born much earlier. Our grandparents were passionate farmers who taught us to love, labor and respect the land. They also taught us to enjoy wine. Full of Life.
