Bodegas Comenge is a family owned and organic winery that focuses on elegance, naturalness and quality in their wines.
About the winery
We are located at the Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero, with breathtaking views of the River Duero valley and surrounded by ancient castles. Our aim is to produce excellent natural wines using avant-garde techniques. Since our inception we have been absolutely respectful with the environment, not using any chemical products in the care of the vineyards or during the winemaking process. We are Organic Certified by the EU. Manual selection of individual berries after de-stemming and our unique patented natural fermentation process are our key differentiating factors.

History & Geography
When, back in 1999, Jaime Comenge started working on his desire to make wine, his ideas were clear: the vineyard is the fundamental pillar of the character and personality of a wine and it therefore needs to be considered in each stage of the winemaking process. With this idea in mind, Bodegas Comenge has created its own winemaking philosophy based on innovation and research to express the true charm of our vineyard in the purest and most genuine way possible.
