Vinska klet Colnar is a family owned and family run wine cellar from Dolenjska region (Slovenia). On 10 hectares of land they produce several types of wine from red to white, rosé and sparkling. Producing high quality wine is of outmost importance for them. Not only to maintain it, but to upgrade it each year through improved technology and production processes. Their goal is that the consumer tastes and feels their efforts with every sip of wine he takes and furthermore is pleasantly surprised by the color, smell and taste. When this happens, their goal is achieved.

History & Geography
Colnar family has a long history which dates back to 15th century. Their first wine cottage was built in 1407 and already back then they have been involved with viticulture. Throughout years they have gradually focused from agriculture to viticulture. When in 2014 they have officially switched to winemaking and expanded to 10 hectares of vineyards. Today they are cultivating 50.000 vines at four different locations. Vinska klet Colnar has always been a family business and this stayed unchanged to nowadays when the cellar and vineyards are being run by father son and uncle.
