About the winery
The winery is surrounded by 50 hectares of land, 23 of which are planted with vineyards. Its particular terroir (geological texture) and a highly favorable climate allow the production of both typical wines from local vines (Malvasia, Lambrusco and Rosso dei Colli) and less typical wines from different varietals, normally found in other territories (Cabernet, Merlot, Barbera, Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Moscato) with surprising results. A very special attention is given to every single step of the production cycle, from the soil preparation to the pruning of the vines and the hand-harvesting of the grapes into small crates which preserves the integrity of the clusters. Our winery has just been awarded the SQNPI certification for integrated sustainable agriculture, which implies our continuous commitment towards the safeguarding and improving fertility of the soil, avoiding erosion and compaction and at the same time preserving the plants and fauna in the vineyards.
