DIEGO MORRA

Elegance, identity and balance between the work of man and the extraordinary power of nature: discover our Barolo, discover our territory

About the winery
Welcome! We are in Verduno, a small village in the heart of the Langhe, and we are in the middle of one of the most prestigious crus in the Barolo area: Monvigliero. Today our property is composed by 30 hectares of vineyards located in the best Cru of Verduno, La Morra and Roddi, and 20 hectares of hazelnuts. Now we produce 30,000 bottles each year, but we want to grow step by step: the Barolo Monvigliero, with its austerity, recognizable elegance and olfactory richness and the Verduno Pelaverga DOC with its characteristic notes of spices and withe pepper are only two of the wines that characterize our production and identity. There are other typical local varieties and wines, including Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo, but also two wines with fresh and exuberant notes: Chardonnay and Nebbiolo rosé.

History & Geography
We ara grapegrowers from 3 generations - Domenico, Antonio and today Diego - and our story begins in the middle of the‘900 with the first piece of land. Our company is a family company - we make our wines only with our grapes: each vineyard – the core business of our company - is directly followed by us with care, attention and scruples in every moment of the production chain. We look carefully and with respect to the past, but always with a view to the future, to the research and continuous improvement, in the vineyard, in the cellar door and in the reception of our customers: in 2018 began the work of expanding our cellar, with the aim to further increase and diversify production, and welcome visitors in a new panoramic tasting room, with large window and terrace overlooking the vineyards.
