History & Geography
La Scolca estate was taken over between 1917 and 1919 by the great-grandfather of Giorgio Soldati who today leads the company together with his daughter Chiara, the fourth generation with a look to the third millennium. In one hundred years of activity the wine passion has turned into profession, but the passion for Gavi didn’t stop. Gavi La Scolca has become a Cult and has conquered the world, without ever betraying its origins and its characteristics. The past and the future live together in this company that combines at best the naturalness of those who always live in this world with the speed of those who look forward with the vision of the bravest captains: Soldati means Soldiers and never as in this case the name of the family has a special symbolic meaning.
