History & Geography
In the late 1800s there was a family of farmers with 5 children. The youngest was called Cristoforo. When he was old enough to get married, all the brothers helped him to build his farm: Podere San Cristoforo. In 1901, Cristoforo could take care of his olives, vines and grains, in an enchanted valley a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean. During the Great War, Cristoforo was called to arms and did not return. The property remained abandoned for almost 80 years. Our will was to pay tribute to the work done by our predecessors and to maintain the balance created over the years created by nature.
