About the winery
Deep in the southwest of France, about halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse, lies the famous region of Armagnac. And right in the heart of it, our estate stretches across 300 hectares of land and features a beautiful castle from the 13th century, the Château de Gensac. Thanks to our unique micro terroir we are able to produce highest quality wines and Armagnacs that are indeed unique in our region. Some characteristics of our work include: - true passion and care for our soil and vines - vast biodiversity on the estate - manual harvest - low yields per hectare to ensure highest quality Amidst a unique landscape of vineyards, lakes and meadows, not only our vines but also our wonderful horses flourish. Up to 40 horses live around the Château de Gensac, which makes it an even more magical place.
