About the winery
Proud to have obtained thanks to the feedback from our visitors a CERTIFCATE OF EXCELLENCE by Tripadvisor for 10 consecutive years being part of the HALL OF FAME, ranking us as the #1 winery to visit in the Colchagua Valley. The warm and friendly manner of our team invites you to have fun with diverse activities such as "Wines & Falvours" tour, that starts exploring the vineyards, followed by a guided visit to the cellar, and ending with a tasting paired with delicious appetizers. "Make Your Own Wine" experience is also a must do tour in our winery that started with this program in Chile! Dare to be a winemaker making your own blend of wine, bottle it, make your own label and take it to your home for enjoying it. You can relax also in our Visitors Center with a delicious "Picnic" all the year round and from mid of February till April 30 you can live a real "My Harvest" experience, from picking the grapes in the vineyards to the traditional grape stomping, great for the whole family.

History & Geography
MontGras belongs to one of the pioneering viticulture families in Chile. In 1910 José María Gras arrived to Chile from it native home Barcelona, Spain. In 1930s buys a small vineyard located between the Chmbarongo estuary and teh town of Santa Cruz, in the heart of what we now know as "Colchagua Valley". José María Gras produces and sells wine passionately and soon his son, José, shared in the family dream and he in turn passed on the knowledge and vision to his sons, Eduardo and Hernán Gras. With the accumulated experience of two generations, Eduardo & Hernán Gras formally established MontGras Winery in 1993. Today, Rodrigo Gras, 4th Generation of the Gras Family & President of MontGras, shares in the family tradition and works towards creating wines that gladden people’s hearts and express the vision and passion of four generations and over a century of commitment and experience.
