Voyager Estate

Voyager Estate is an independent family-owned winery, producing organically farmed wine, with immersive, behind-the-scenes wine experiences.

About the winery
Voyager Estate invites you to immerse yourself in a journey from the vineyard to the table. Tour the Estate to taste wine straight from the barrel and see Australia’s largest underground barrel cellar before indulging in a true degustation. Take your place at a private tasting that offers a fun and interactive way to learn more about wine, from how to identify aromas in wine to learning more about the famed Margaret River varietals; Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Wine has always been the hero in the Voyager Restaurant, which was acknowledged by the 2019 WA Good Food Guide Awards with a Top 5 placement and the comment "Voyager Estate is truly one of the great culinary and wine experiences in WA".

History & Geography
Founder Michael Wright settled on our special site in Stevens Valley because it had the ideal characteristics to create wines that are at home amongst the world's best. Its geology is the oldest in Australia and the gravel soils, microclimate, aspect and consistent maritime influence make up the foundations of the distinctive Voyager Estate style. Planted in 1978, we marked its 40th anniversary of vine age with the announcement we were undergoing organic conversion, underpinning our commitment to long-term commitment to sustainable farming.
