Estate grown premium cool climate wines The Adelaide Hills produce magnificent cool climate wines. The Cobbs Hill Estate vineyards supply our seven varieties – Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Methode Traditionelle Sparkling. All our wines are small batch, hand picked and crafted to reflect Adelaide Hills terroir. Tasting rooms, picturesque location Our cellar door provides visitors with a unique setting. Our purpose built cellar door connects guests with views of our surrounding botanical gardens and acres of vineyards. Enjoy an afternoon at Cobb’s Hill Estate Cellar Door, with a glass of wine and gourmet platter sitting on our decking or garden lawns. Activities Petanque Try your hand at tossing the silver balls without spilling your wine in the other hand. Two Walking Trails (2km each) are available for guests to enjoy around the 250-acre property with designated picnic spots along the way. A mud map of trails is provided.

History & Geography
A rich history dating back to 1854, including pastures for Cobb & Co. horses employed for pulling stagecoaches through the Adelaide Hills from 1867. Today Cobb’s Hill Estate is set on over 250 acres (100 hectares) of quality farmland, with over 50 acres of vineyards and a herd of Black Angus cattle. Our ten vineyards are planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Shiraz vines. The new Cellar Door and Bed & Breakfast, located in the old homestead, is set amongst a botanical garden. Combined with walking trails and panoramic views, you can enjoy your own country estate for a while. Only 30 kms or 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Relax with homegrown premium cool climate wines and gourmet platters in our tasting rooms and undercover decking with shady lawns in summer and log fires in winter.
