Since creating the first world-class Torrontés in the early 1980s in Cafayate, in the Salta province, to the present day at the foot of the Andes in Mendoza, Susana Balbo’s vision has forged a path that has positioned us at the pinnacle of wine producers. That passion has spanned generations, passed to her children Ana and José, along with a nearly hundred-strong team that completes the family. Leadership and a common mission sustain the four lines: Críos, Susana Balbo Signature, Nosotros and BenMarco. Both classic and modern, this is a wine portfolio inspired by the vineyard.

In 1999, with almost two decades dedicating her talent to national and international companies in the wine business working as a consultant, Susana Balbo decided to make her dream of having a winery of her own come true and that was the moment Susana Balbo Wines put down roots in the heart of Luján de Cuyo Mendoza. After more than ten years of steady growth in foreign markets, another one of her dreams was fulfilled: her children, José, winemaker graduated from UC Davis (California) and Ana, Bachelor of Business Administration from University San Andrés (Buenos Aires) decided to go on with the family tradition and join Susana Balbo Wines team. During the last years, Susana and her team have been working tirelessly on meeting the international highest quality standards and have showed their commitment to some of the major issues of the 21st century: food safety, environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
