Situated in the heart of Temecula’s Wine Country and nestled into the middle of a beautiful private 5 acre Chardonnay vineyard, Domaine Chardonnay Bed & Breakfast was designed and built personally by owners Michael Wieters Landscape Architect and Space Designer, with Laura Stearn, Interior Designer and Fine Artist. Reminiscent of a small village in the Loire Valley, Domaine Chardonnay’s unique architecture incorporates a charming Winery Estate complete with a Medieval chapel that has been cleverly designed and decorated with an uber posh, modern décor. It is a perfect blend of fine living with rustic organic farming and sophisticated small batch wine making. Located at 33810 Madera de Playa and one of the oldest Chardonnay vineyards in the heart of Temecula Wine Country, Domaine Chardonnay's vineyard property was purchased from the original estate by Laura Stearn and Michael Wieters in 2016. They had a dream of designing and building their own custom home in the middle of a vineyard, living the good life, being closer to nature, farming their own land, making wine and sharing the experience with others. Three years of designing, permits, passion, hard work and building their private estate and Bed & Breakfast, it was quite a procedure. Every step was fascinating, exciting, inspiring and arduous at the same time. And now the beautiful dream of Domaine Chardonnay has become a reality. With its posh decor designed down to the finest detail, it is quintessential elegant vineyard living with vineyards as far as the eye can see, clean fresh air and abundant sunshine that warms your soul.
