About the winery
Located at the “Gateway” to the Napa Valley, Cosentino’s tasting room and its ivy-covered façade is one of Napa Valley’s most recognized properties in the highly regarded appellation of Oakville. Cosentino is ideal for a first or last stop or impulse visit when headed to Mustard’s Grill or photo opportunity by the landmark Napa Barrel sign. In 2015, construction was completed on a beautiful new patio area with both a water and fire element. This allows guests to enjoy a comfortable seated outside area which is fairly rare for winery tasting rooms.

History & Geography
Cosentino Winery is renowned for creating the first designated and licensed Meritage wine, Bordeaux inspired blend that set the standard that others would follow in Napa Valley. 1980 - Cosentino Winery made its first wines with its inaugural vintage released in 1981. 1989 - Cosentino released “The Poet”; one of America’s first designated and licensed Meritage wine. 1990 - THE Series was introduced with THE Zin, showcasing the best grapes from the Lodi AVA and paving the way for THE Series of wines. THE Series is now our largest volume collection of wine from the Lodi AVA. Today Cosentino Winery has grown in quality and reputation and continues to gain recognition for innovative winemaking. After over 35 years of winemaking, our commitment to the future is still focused on producing quality ultra-premium wines.
