About the winery
Lyme Bay Winery is a small, dedicated West Country company producing award-winning English still and sparkling wine, gin, fruit wine, liqueur and Jack Ratt cider, mead and rum. Visitors are made welcome at the winery shop, which is open every day and where all Lyme Bay and Jack Ratt products are on sale, together with a selection of West Country wares. There are always samples of most of the range available to try – do ask at the counter. Winery tours are available strictly by appointment and vineyard tours are not possible as Lyme Bay Winery sources grapes from the best growers across the country, rather than growing its own. Across the courtyard from the shop is the excellent Coffee Factory café and parking is free.

History & Geography
Under the watchful eye of the winemaking team, and using secret blends of local ingredients, traditional recipes are crafted into award-winning drinks, tailored to the 21st-century palate. Each of these is fermented, blended and aged, as appropriate, on site at the winery as they have been for nearly 30 years. More recently, Lyme Bay Winery entered into the world of English wine, releasing its first vintage in 2015. Grapes are sourced from a select group of growers across the UK but mostly from the South West of England, with the aim of creating special wines born from grapes with diverse backgrounds. Lyme Bay Winery has been very quick to make an impact with some excellent award-winning and well-respected wines.
