History & Geography
Monte La Reina is a young, modern and dynamic winery made up of a multidisciplinary team ready to give their best to offer the best product. Jesús Juárez was in charge of projecting this building in dialogue with the surrounding landscape. It was built with noble materials and present in nature and reinforcing the idea of integrating architecture into its environment. Juárez conceived this construction as a great photo camera, since he felt that the visual spectacle that the landscape of Monte La Reina offers is so magical that it is worth taking a daily photo. Thus, the viewfinder, flash and shutter of a photographic camera can be distinguished on the facade of the building. The winery is half buried in the hill, with the aim of combining aesthetic purposes with technicians and achieving a good temperature within the different buildings.
