Renčel Boutique Wine

In Dutovlje, where the house is now marked by the number 24, there was always a homestead. Every generation added something, build something. Our predecessors also worked in other fields of farming, such as animal husbandry and agriculture, but wine was always the first and the most important product of this house. They did, however, do it a much simpler way, made only two wines, Terrano and white mixed. The changes came slowly, agriculture was abandoned and the fields were planted with vines. One of the our fundamental interventions was a deviation from the classic Karst wine history. We began planting other sorts and exploring everything that this teritory could give us. On good vintage, i tried to get the most out of nature and leave grapes on the vine for as long as possible, not picking them as soon as they reached physiological ripeness. We went considerably further with it.
