Heir of four generations of a historic family of Palmela. The wine production of Quinta do Piloto comes from a selection of vineyards in the best Palmela’s terroirs. Quinta do Piloto offers you the possibility to visit its winery and vineyard on a daily basis and also to taste its wines. Old distilleries on the Quinta where you can purchase our wines, or simply enjoy them in an idyllic landscape. Hold your event in a secular farm in the heart of Serra da Arrábida Natural Park. There are several rooms and outdoor spaces we have available to make your wedding, christening, meeting and other events a unique and memorable moment.

History & Geography
The history of Quinta do Piloto spans four generations of a family that grew up linked to the history of Palmela over a century. At the beginning of the century, in 1900, Humberto da Silva Cardoso left for Brazil in search of his fortune. But he returned shortly after, as he had left. In Palmela, he married Adelaide Carvalho Cardoso, daughter of an illustrious family of winery owners. In recent years, Filipe Cardoso has taken the extensive area of old vines and used the family experience to select extraordinary wines under the Piloto brands, opposed to selling the grapes. The current Quinta do Piloto project was born in 2008, to make these special wines known. Dedicated to bottling quality wines in small quantities, Quinta do Piloto is the culmination of a history that spans four generations dedicated to Palmela. A secret finally revealed.
