About the winery
Wine and wine culture, are rooted in our identity. The vineyard area with 6 hectares, is composed of red grapes varieties of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Alicante Bouschet and Syrah, and the white grape variety of Gouveio. The vineyard is organic certified, respecting biodiversity and terroir potential. Hotel and winery guest have access to a wide range of wine related experiences. At L’AND Vineyards, the vine and the wine are more than merely landmarks. In a unique and completely innovative way in Portugal, L’AND Vineyards transforms wine and the vine into an enriching personal experience.

History & Geography
L’AND Vineyards is located at 4 km from Montemor-o-Novo, in the heart of Alentejo. About 45 minutes from Lisbon airport and only 20 minutes from Évora. Alentejo it is an immense natural space still free of the traces of industrialization and urbanization that marked the last century. It is one of the best-preserved regions of Europe: an extensive natural reserve where you can still live and feel the Nature. L’AND RESORTS SA is part of the Portuguese family group SOUSA CUNHAL . The group has been operating since the second half of the 19th century. Its core activity has been agroforestry production and wine production. The group has diversified into sustainable tourism since 2001.
