Mauro Sebaste

The wine as a project, Quality without compromise!

About the winery
Welcome is our must! We will receive you with a worm and family welcome, sharing with you our passion, our history and our style of work! We want to let you dip into our reality, and after a visit in the cellar we will sit together with you tasting a selection of our wines. We will drive you through our typical grape varieties, discovering how Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, Moscato can change depending by the different terroirs. Our work is focused on this, exalting the different nuances between our terrois, and this is why we have a Barolo from La Morra and Verduno which stands in parallel to a Barolo from Serralunga, we produce a Nebbiolo d'Alba to show how great can be the Nebbiolo expression out from the Barolo area but very close to it, we have both the two styles of Barbera, from Alba and from Asti, in their Classic and Superior expression, for the same reasons we produce Dolcetto from Alba and from Diano. Come to let you drive to all of this and much more! We wait for you!

History & Geography
Our company was born from the strong passion of Mauro Sebaste, son of Sylla, a famous woman and a true Langa wine expert. After Sylla's premature death, Mauro leaves the family business and, propelled by his strong passion for wine, he pursues a single objective: producing quality wines. With the help of his wife, Maria Teresa, and his in-laws, he sets up a new company and creates a wine-producing business. And today the next generation has joined the family business: Sylla working in accounting and Angelica painting the labels. To carry out his plan, he starts with a slow, meticulous search for vineyards: each of them with suitable features of typicality, geographical location and exposure. Nowadays, Mauro manages thirty hectares of vineyards in property and in renting. He follows ripening cycles with absolute devotion and care in order to achieve his one and only objective: producing total and uncompromising quality.
