About the winery
Federico Mencaroni locates in Le Marche, in Corinaldo, on the eastern edge of Italy. Due to the presence of the Adriatic Sea, Apennines Mountains, and various rivers, this are provides weather variations from the Mediterranean to the Continental. The lush vineyards beautifully sit on the gentle hills of Apennines, give the winery a breathtaking view of the countryside. They cover an area of about 10 hectares. The Federico Mencaroni Company grows various types of autochthonous vines. The clay and limestone soil is best for growing varieties like Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Verdicchio, and Montepulciano. The owner also cultivates unique Malvasia and Biancame. Further, the estate produces award-winning sparkling wines, along with tasty red, white and rose wines. At present, the winery delivers approximately 30,000 bottles of wine per year. They harvest their grapes with hands to maintain the organoleptic characteristics of the vines.
