History & Geography
Perched on the hillslopes of Koutsi, a celebrated “crus” in the heart of Nemea, Semeli is a leading winery and one of the country’s most significant wine-related developments. The winery was named after Semeli, daughter of the king of Thebes and mother of Dionysos, god of fruitfulness, wine and joyous celebration.
