About the winery
In our Family owened winery we produce mainly Riesling. The vineyards are around the Village of Lieser, and some in Bernkastel-Kues. Especially the Rieslings are comming from the steep Sloops of the Mosel, covered with mineralic devonian slate. This slate soil delivers the destinctiv minerality and accidity to our wines. What distinguishes the Stettler Estate is a combination of 370 years of wine growing knowledge and experience that has been passed on for generations from the father to son, together with the perfect climate, the slate-rich soil and new, modern methodology of winegrowing, which promises sustainable unique wine. The love for fine wines and the satisfaction of our international clientele drives us every day to create the finest Mosel valley wines. You will be positively surprised by the fragrance and taste of our outstanding wines. They are elegant, expressive and powerful with a perfect balance of mineral taste from the typical terroir of the Mosel valley.

Family owned since 1649. Stettler Estate was one of the Mosel valley’s first wineries to be granted authorization by the German government to cultivate red grapes locally.
