About the winery
The Shumi Tourist and Enogastronomy Complex occupies an area of 23 acres and includes: • The Collection of Vines, the largest private ampelographic collection in the world, an encyclopedia of more than 900 living vines; • The First Wine Museum in Georgia, where some exhibits are 6,000 years old; • The Georgian Ethnographic Pavilion, where visitors can participate in Georgian traditions; • Gastronomic zones with restaurant and terraces, cafes, verandas, pavilions and tasting areas mostly located outdoors, where Shumi’s best can be appreciated at one’s pleasure; • The Marani, where Shumi’s wines are made in Qvevri and age in oak barrels; • The Enoteca, a cellar vault holding Shumi’s best; • The Decorative Garden, with sculptures made by famous Georgian artists; • The Wine Shop, showcasing a wide assortment of different products including Company Shumi’s exclusives that have no analogues in the world, such as Genesis, Lazare, Zigu, Shobili • The Chip and Putt par 3 Golf Practice Facility
