History & Geography
A symbol of elegance and refinement, Trianon refers to the Grand Trianon of Versailles. The estate is located southwest of Saint-Emilion, where it can be traced back to the 17th century. The story goes that a steward of Louis XIV had the castle built and named it “Trianon” in homage to Versailles.
