About the winery
Château Prieuré Marquet is a prestigious guest house combining luxury and peace. Its elegant 15th century charterhouse accommodates 11 rooms, surrounded by an enclosed park of 40 hectares, 2 heated swimming pools and many other assets. The estate also produces its own wine. Vintages combining pleasure and finesse, which can be discovered thanks to our many oenotourism activities (visits, tastings, horse riding in the vineyards, etc.).

History & Geography
During the XVI century, the Château is the property of the de Lagarde family. Antoine Nicolas de Lagarde became a Knight of La Roche-Aymon and bequeathed the estate to his son, Charles-Antoine de la Roche-Aymon. He will become one of the highest figures of the kingdom of France. Bishop of Toulouse and Narbonne, Archbishop of Reims, Cardinal, Knight of the Holy Spirit, Grand Chaplain of France, he will become the confessor of King Louis XV, who visited the Château himself several times. A few decades later, it was he who consecrated King Louis XVI in Reims on 11 June 1775.
