About the winery
The winery is located in the Weinviertel region of Lower Austria. The loving care of the vines and the work in the vineyards has priority for Karl and Brigitte Neustifter. ‘We transmit the naturalness of the wine to each bottle’, explains Karl Neustifter his wine producing philosophy. 24 hectares around Poysdorf are cultivated by Family Neustifter in the third generation. Grüner Veltliner is the most important grape variety. It’s produced in several styles like Weinviertel DAC, Grüner Veltliner Perfektion, Grüner Veltliner Reserve and Grüner Veltliner Stockkultur. Everyone will find his favourite Grüner Veltliner. Karl Neustifter is passionate about red wine and he plants Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot noir.

History & Geography
The company was founded in 1930 as an agricultural enterprise. At that time, wine production was still of very minor importance. Karl Neustifter sen. increased the area under vines over the years. The Neustifter family owned vineyards in the best vineyards in Poysdorf: Hermannschachern, Zapfelsbergen, Maxendorf and the famous vineyard “Saurüsseln” - just to name a few. Karl jun. and Brigitte Neustifter the winery. For them, important future issues, such as the conscious use of nature and the realization of their visions, come first. They attach particular importance to the Weinviertel DAC quality feature and innovative wine production using the natural resources with care.
