About the winery
About Danny Belbin - Vineyard Manager. Danny, a fifth generation farmer from the Coal River Valley, manages our two vineyards in Cambridge and Campania. Using his knowledge of the area together with his own creative and innovative ideas Danny and his team are working with the land to produce the highest quality in grape production. Talking to Danny and understanding the techniques he uses only highlights his family history of sustainable farming which now runs through the veins of our vineyards. His sheep farming background is evident from May till spring when his Black Suffolk’s graze the vineyard; a multipurpose method to sustainably maintain the land whilst nourishing the sheep before lambing. Danny and his team are responsible for the nurturing and development of the vineyards, securing the future of our grape production and the continued growth of Frogmore Creek for generations.

History & Geography
Frogmore Creek, formerly known as Meadowbank Estate, is an iconic part of the ever growing and rapidly expanding Tasmanian wine industry. Frogmore Creek is at the heart of one of Tasmania's most well recognised and premium cool climate wine regions, the Coal River Valley. Meadowbank Estate was established in July 2000 and since that time, and the rebranding in 2012, has evolved into a truly authentic hub for winery tourism in southern Tasmania, with both the name and wine brands being recognised not only in the home state of Tasmania but across mainland Australia and the world. Frogmore Creek, in addition to world-class wine production, is also known for its award winning restaurant. Most recently, in 2015 Frogmore was awarded Restaurant of the Year Tasmanian as well as Restaurant of the Year for Regional Australia. Frogmore Creek also operate a high-end function and events, casual dining tapas menu and cellar door all located just 15 minutes from the CBD of Hobart.
