SuperUco

SuperUco was born as a shared dream, which with time and work we are sculpting into a solid reality.

About the winery
SuperUco was born as a shared dream, which with time and work we were sculpting into a solid reality. The four Michelini brothers: Gerardo, Matías, Gabriel and Juan Pablo, together with Daniel Sammartino, gestated the idea, developed it and transformed it for almost five years to turn it into this fertile present that we had imagined long ago. Today, SuperUco is a constant search to polish, with ever more precision, the art of making wines from the terroir where we live. Wines from the terroir of which we are part. We make pure wines; wines that with a transparent message express all the complexity of their place of origin. The Uco Valley; our place in the world.

History & Geography
Our vines come from three micro-terrains of the Uco Valley, from austere lands and with high altitude that express with the best fidelity the qualities of the place. The chosen lands are: Gualtallary, in Tupungato; Los Chacayes, in Tunuyán ; and Altamira, in San Carlos; that form the perfect brotherhood between 1,100 and 1,400mts. high above sea level. Due to the inclination that it presents from West to East, on cold nights and warm days, due to the great thermal amplitude, due to its calcareous and stony soils, we understand Gualtallary as one of the most privileged terroirs in the Uco Valley. In addition, it is the highest wine-growing area in Mendoza with vineyards that grow between 1,200 and 1,700 meters above sea level. This farm located in Los Chacayes, in the upper part of the Uco Valley, emerges next to a river that has been washing the small, round rocks, already shaped by time and by the water course. A true reflection of that is the wine that is born from here.
