Agustin Lanus Wines is know for it's SUNAL line of wines from extreme altitude terroirs located between 2,200 and 2,745 masl in the Upper Calchaqui Valley, Argentina. From the valley floor around their headquarters in the quaint pueblo of Cafayate, Agustin Lanus Wines offers a wide variety of high altitude wines (1,600 masl) under the Bad Brothers brand. The company also operates Bad Brothers Wine Experience, a restaurant and tasting room featured in Wine Spectator, Departures Magazine and many others. Due to the extremely remote location of their vineyards, visits are by appointment only and must be arranged in advance.

History & Geography
Agustín Lanús is an Argentine Agricultural Engineer, Sommelier and Master of Science in Viticulture and Oenology from the highly respected Vinifera EuroMaster program, completing his studies in Montpellier and Bordeaux, France and in Asti, Italy. Before and after completing his master’s degree in Europe’s most prestigious program for winemaking, Agustin worked in wineries around the world, including Ceretto, Alba, Italy; Chateau Beychevelle, Bordeaux, France; Rutini, Tupungato, Argentina; Bodega Burdigala, Toro, Spain; Lurton, Douro, Portugal; KWV, Paarl, South Africa. In 2006 Agustin traveled to Salta Province, Argentina with the specific goal of exploring the unique micro-terroirs found in the extreme altitude regions of the Calchaqui Valley. Today, Agustin Lanus is widely recognized as a leading authority in viticulture involving high and extreme altitude terroirs, expressing the special qualities of those terroirs in each bottle of SUNAL extreme altitude wines, and Bad Brothers
