The Yarra Valley truly starts at Rob Dolan Wines. Only 30 minutes from Melbourne, our dog-friendly winery is the perfect place to enjoy cheese and wine, and learn about the Yarra Valley from our Wine Specialists in the Cellar Door. Rob's philosophy is about making wine with character; wine with depth which reflects our unique terroir. You'll taste from vineyard sites across the Valley, and learn how location impacts the perfect drop. Visit us for a wine tasting; order some cheese and wine to enjoy while overlooking the vineyard; or learn about pairing with our cheese + wine experience (available in both vegan + dairy cheese). If you're lucky, you might meet @merlot_thewinedog - our Chief Cuddle Officer - he loves making friends with our visitors! Please note a tasting fee of $5 applies (redeemable with purchase). Bookings are required for groups of 5 - 15 people, this can be done online. Sorry no Hens, Bucks, 18th or 21st parties.

After 25 years of making wine for some of Australia’s most iconic wineries, our fearless leader (and local legend!) Rob, made the decision to channel his creative energy into his own label. And so, Rob Dolan Wines was born. Rob’s belief in creating wines of real character flows through everything we do. We are wine makers at heart , but the highest quality Yarra Valley fruit is what truly makes our wines - and it’s our unparalleled relationships with growers that gives us just that. In the winery, our focus is to make wines that showcase the calibre of fruit, wines with character and a true sense of place. Our cool climate wines carry elegance, complexity and depth of flavour, but for Rob, it all comes down to enjoyment; they’re easy to share and even easier to love.
